Weston-A versatile engineering polyamide result of new technology Plastics. Some of the advantages of high molecular weight, high rigidity, better hardness, wear resistance, good dimensional stability and low water absorption, the increase resistance, sound damping, light weight, Corrosion and chemical resistance, high tensile strength high mechanical strength, very suitable material for applications where lubrications is difficult or impractical, low water absorption increases the excellent shock/vibration resistance.

Weston can be readly machined with conventional tools but they must be carefully for sharpness to ensure satisfactory formation, removal of chips and a smooth surface. As a rule of thumb cutting speeds must be high and feed low. When drilling large inner diameters pilot before bore is necessary.

Weston manufactured by monomer casting process upgrade the Nylon 6 extruded material to give properties similar to Nylon 66 material but with lower moisture absorption and improved strength. It enables production on stress free stock shapes of almost unlimited size. Our standard sizes are give overleaf. Any specific sizes can be manufactured as per customers specifications.
